John Surabathula specializes in forensic schedule analysis, the preparation and defense of construction claims and project support in planning, scheduling and construction progress monitoring. He has co-authored expert reports, testified in arbitration and supported legal counsel for mediations and negotiations.

He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Osmania University, India in 1991. He obtained a Project Management Professional certification (PMP) in 2018 and has been certified as a PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI – SP) since 2011.

John has over 30 years of experience in construction, construction management and program management including wastewater treatment plants, buildings, LNG, mining, hydro, transmission, and transportation projects.

His experience in heavy construction includes concrete structures, LNG, earth works, elevated road, bridge and tunnel construction, utility and underground relocation projects.

His particular area of expertise is as a forensic delay analyst on major claims and disputes. He has had hands-on experience providing support on complex construction projects, including construction claim support, contract review, cost and resource loaded scheduling, earned value, delay analysis and constructability reviews to ensure owner’s requirements are satisfied.

Prior to joining Revay, John worked as a project controls specialist, lead planner, and scheduler for one of the world’s leading publicly traded engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance and project management companies.
