Andrew Podolny has over 25 years of construction experience in a variety of construction sectors including oil-and-gas, heavy civil, industrial, commercial and institutional on projects both in Canada and overseas.
His expertise in construction project management encompasses planning and scheduling, schedule and productivity monitoring, project control, cost control, engineering procurement construction, tendering and contracts, delay and productivity analysis, working on behalf of general contractors, trade contractors and owners.
Andrew’s expertise spans the full project life cycle, offering comprehensive project management support, schedule development, and performance monitoring. He assists owners in evaluating contractors and consultants, facilitates workshops to align project scope and expectations, and develops detailed CPM schedules which integrate cost and labour data. Andrew strengthens project controls through earned value analysis, progress-linked payment systems, and early-warning monitoring programs. His work also includes contract review to minimize claims exposure, the preparation of master schedules, and advanced probabilistic simulations. Additionally, he delivers customized multi-method schedule analyses and provides forensic delay analyses in line with AACE guidelines to support dispute resolution and claims management.
Andrew is proficient in the use of various computer software, including Primavera(P3 and P6), Microsoft Project, TILOS Linear Scheduling and Deltek Acumen Fuse and Risk . He is also experienced in the development and implementation of planning and scheduling processes and procedures to improve project management.
