Gerard Boyle is an industry-recognized expert in project management and controls, planning and scheduling, CPM schedule best-practices, forensic delay and productivity claims analysis, dispute resolution, Earned Value project management and analysis, and risk management. He is an internationally published author on these topics and regularly delivers presentations to the construction industry which highlight his practical experience in improving performance on construction projects.
Gerard is certified by the AACE International as an expert in forensic schedule analysis (CFCC), as well as by the Canadian Construction Association as a Gold Seal project manager (GSC).
He has testified in litigation as an expert in construction management, construction project performance evaluation, project scheduling and controls, and delay analysis. Gerard has extensive experience in successfully leading and facilitating, as well as developing strategy for the commercial settlement of claims on major infrastructure projects and other types of construction.
He has conceived and led the implementation of schedule monitoring and control programs as well as earned value management systems on some of the largest construction projects in Canada, involving a variety of construction types, including airports, water treatment plants, industrial, commercial and institutional building, tunneling and road construction projects.
Drawing on his long experience as a general contractor prior to joining Revay, Gerard also provides owners with guidance in contract administration and contract delivery approaches.
