
Jon-Paul Kansky

Jon-Paul (J.P.) Kansky is a professional engineer with over 25 years of technical, project management and supply chain experience in both owner and consulting organizations. He. holds a dual MBA degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a registered professional member of both the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) and Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).
J.P. has worked on a wide range of private and public-sector projects, including energy, industrial, infrastructure, transit, institutional, commercial, and residential. His roles and responsibilities have included project planning and capital spend allocation, project management, supply chain management (procurement, contracts, and category management), engineering design, contract administration, and construction support (commissioning and field inspections).
In addition to working on projects, J.P. established a Project Management Office (PMO), which included developing governance frameworks, mentoring staff, presenting training workshops, and creating tools and templates. His experience also extends to the analysis of complex financial transactions for gathering, processing, and selling of oil and gas products.
Through J.P.’s broad experience, he is able to integrate a 360-degree perspective and a wide range of best practices. J.P. is well versed in dealing with broad groups and resolving complex problems, which is supported by his strong business acumen and technical knowledge.
As a Senior Consultant at Revay, J.P. has completed numerous mandates involving delay, loss of productivity, and cost quantification. He has provided strategic advice to his clients with respect to contract formation and management, project reporting, claim preparation and avoidance, and dispute resolution. J.P. has authored expert reports and has been retained as an expert for referee, arbitration, and litigation proceedings. He has testified in arbitration.
