Jon-Paul (J.P.) Kansky is a professional engineer with over 25 years of technical, project management and supply chain experience in both owner and consulting organizations. J.P. holds a dual MBA degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a registered member of both the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) and Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).

J.P. has worked on a wide range of projects within the energy, industrial, institutional, commercial, and residential sectors. His diverse supply chain experience has involved the management and support of supplier, contractor, as well as engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) contracts from inception to contract close-out. This includes writing, negotiating and monitoring contracts, as well as preparing tender packages, developing and reviewing change orders and claims, and resolving disputes.

Through his experience working for both owners and consultants across multiple sectors, he is able to integrate a wide range of perspectives and best practices into his work. J.P. is well versed in dealing with broad stakeholder groups and resolving complex problems, which is supported by his strong business acumen and technical knowledge base.

At Revay, J.P. has completed numerous mandates involving delay, loss of productivity, and cost quantification. He has authored expert reports and has been retained as expert for referee, arbitration, and litigation. J.P. has also advised, and prepared letters and claims on behalf of his clients for various issues such as contract management, project reporting, and delay. He has testified in arbitration.
